Good Morning my friends!

It is so good to be back in blogger's land.  I have been sick in bed with Meniere's Disease for the past week.  I am finally coming out of my vertigo haze.  Can't wait to visit with you all!

There is a new challenge and a new free digital stamp over at Just Some Lines.  For the next fortnight we will be honoring Mother!

Here is my card

For this easel card I used two image Hello World and Emo Tulip I think they could be sisters.  Here is the close up of the digis.

To make the mother's day sentiment & all of the flowers, I turned to my Cameo Silhouette.  I cute the sentiment exactly as it was in the store, but I cut lots of extra flower and I added gems to the center to give the card some extra pop!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Good Morning,

Today I have a little rainy day card.  I think it is pretty cool because I bought the paper from the Cameo Silhouette Store!  I sized the paper the size I wanted and the card the size I wanted.  Very fun!

The digital stamp is from Just Some Lines.   It is a really cute Spring Time Value Set, but I just used the little girl this time.  I think I am going to make up the whole set soon.

I love that cherry blossom.  We went to DC and saw the Cherry Blossoms this year so I think I will use that on a layout.

Happy Earth Day!

Hello Friends,

I love the earth, if we didn't have it, where would we live.  As most of you know, I live on the Chesapeake Bay and we are lucky enough to keep a boat in the harbor right down the street from our house.  I have noticed that these fishermen come back from their fishing trips and they just throw their trash on the ground!  I don't know when this became acceptable behavior.  How can they fish all day on that beautiful bay and then come back into harbor and trash it?  Don't they realize that the trash they throw on the ground is going to end up in the bay and in the fish they are trying to catch?  It makes me so sad.  What ever happened to Hootie the Owl?  Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute....are children still being taught that in school?  I want to ask them, "What makes you so important and your life so valuable that you can't walk over to the trash can and throw your trash away?" Do they have children?  Grandchildren?  Do they care about the Earth they are leaving behind?  Anyway, those are my thoughts on this Earth Day.

What a beautiful day!  I spent yesterday afternoon with my Daisy Girl Scout Troop so today I feel 10 years younger!  It is amazing how being around young people makes your heart young again too!

JSL Week Two Reminder, Use Charms

Just Some Lines ABC

Hello My Friends,

Christmas has me all confused!  I did not remember to schedule this post last night!  Oh I hope you are enjoying this weekend as much as I am.  This fortnight on Just Some Lines we are doing ABC (Anything But A Card) here is my project.
