INAS Challenge # 125 Get Inky (Stamping and/or Background)

 Hello Friends,

Today we have a new challenge at International Art & Soul #125 "Get Inky (Stamping and/or Background)

Here is my card:

A lot of guys are retiring from my the company where my husband works, so I want him to have some cards to share when he finds out someone is taking early retirement.

Can you see that I "roughed up" the papers and then inked them? I have a hard time doing this to paper, I have the tool, I just have a brain problem when it comes to tearing paper! I need to practice more. I used my stitched circle die to make the sentiment,  I also inked the sentiment with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze and dylusions ink. I also inked the wooden arrow.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Starz Stamps - Mixed Media

Crafty Calendar - January - ATG

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - #201 "I is for Ink"

Crafty Catz - #578 - ATG - Plaid/Check

Cut It Up - #243 - ATG

Aud Sentiments - #290 ATG + Sentiment

DLArt January 2022 Linky + 11th Year Blogaversary!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you are safe from all the snow & weather headed our way!  Please stop by International Art & Soul to see what my Design Team Sisters have made.

Hugs,

Chriss

  4. Fabulous card - I'm sure it will be appreciated.

I'm with you on torn edges etc. It just seems wrong to do, but it definitely worked here.

  5. Perfect card for retirement. I like the roughed up paper. I haven't done that in a long time. Thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice compliment on the coloring of my bird. I almost didn't post it. Have a great week!
