The vertigo has finally lifted so I am working like crazy to get some cards made in my craft room. I have a huge number of kids graduating this year. So these are my first two cards. We always have kids that help us around our house, cutting grass and things like that. They usually start when they are about 12 years old and work for us until they can drive, then it gets harder to get them to come around....unless they are in need of money, LOL
Today I made cards for two of my favorite guys. So the first one is for a young man that moved in next door to me when he was only 2 years old. I loved him the moment I met him. We spent a lot of time together. He was so cute and funny when he was small and he grew to be such a wonderful young man.
The 2nd guy lives in my neighborhood, I think I met him when he was about 8 years old. He is the only one I trust to transplant my flowers or plant trees. I know if he does it they will live.
So here are the cards:
As you can see, I am giving them each one million dollars. This was a super simple card to make, I bought the svg file on Silhouette, it is from Lori Whitlock.
I wanted to show you the sentiment I put on the back of my next door neighbors card. It is from Echo Park "Alice in Wonderland" stamp set and it says, "Your Heart and my Heart are very old friends" I think that is true, I think we will be friends forever.
I am entering these cards into the following challenges:
