INAS #78 Use A Photo

Good Morning,

We have a new challenge over at International Art & Soul #78 "Use A Photo".  As some of you know, I live on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.  I love living here and I have my house decorated with mostly "beachy" things.  It has been so warm this winter, I have had the chance to spend a little time at the beach.

I decided to use the I Love You Banner from Dreaming Tree but make it into something beachy.  Warning, this post is picture heavy so grab a cup of coffee and tea and spend some time with me.

I used a photo of me and my hubby at the beach.

I wanted to show you how big the finished project is, it is quite large. Oh you get so see a little of my craft room, fun!

Here it is on the shelf in my living room.  I think it fits right in.

Here is the middle section, I used some embellishments called "A Day At the Beach Die Cuts" by Carol Wilson. For the coral and teal colored paper I used AC Cardstock.  I found this lovely peach colored metallic paper in my stash for the letters and the teal patterned paper is from Authentique, it is called "Sea Maiden" and can be purchased at Amazon.

Here is on side of the banner.  Don't you love those little mermaids swimming around? There is a question on the Dreaming Tree facebook group all of the time asking where we get our patterned paper.  All of the patterned paper you see is from  Authentique (just click on the word if you would like to see more of their patterns.

So that is my project.  I hope that you will all go to https://intaas.blogspot.com/  International Art & Soul to see the fantastic projects my design team sister have created and then play along with us, it is always fun!

I am entering this Beachy Banner into the following challenges:

Cut It Up - #194 - Your Favorite Color (Teal)
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Patterned Paper
Through the Craft Room Door - ATG
Alphabet Challenge - X is for Xtra Embellishments
