INAS Challenge #59

Good Morning Friends,

Sorry that I only seem to be posting for my design team, there is just so much going on.  I know that many of you are busy too.

I was recently talking to a neighbor who I am friendly with and she asked me if I scrap-booked.  She is cleaning out her house and she no longer scrapbooks.  She asked me if I wanted her scrapbook supplies.  I was thinking it would be a few things so I said sure.  This is what she brought me!

There is an amazing amount of stuff in these two containers:  Paper, over 20 card making kits, embellishments and tools!  I have so much already that I think I am going to take it with me to crops and offer it to everybody in the room.  As most of you know I have a craft room filled to capacity with stuff. I may also give some of the brand new things away as prizes...what do you think?

Anyway, I wanted to make her a card and gift to thank her for her generosity.  International Art & Soul's challenge gave me the opportunity to do so.  The Challenge this fortnight is #59 "Lace and Pearls"

This card is a svg file from Dreaming Tree called For The Ladies SVG Bundle.  I had some new paper from my friend Lisa's Esty Shop A Mermaids Crafts called Lemoncraft Papers "House of Roses" that had this gorgeous lace paper in it. The sentiment is from a very old stamp set.

One of the things I love about Dreaming Tree is that they always give you the envelope file to go with the card.  Can you see that the envelope has a hat with a feather?

I also made this Mini Gifting Tote that is a Free File from Dreaming Tree.

I really encourage you to try one of the free files from Dreaming Tree if you have a Cricut Explore, Cameo Shilouette or Sure Cuts A lot.  You will become addicted!

Here is the Free Tote, notice I used the same paper for the card and tote.  I used Lost and Found Pearl Brads in keeping with the challenge.  Right now the tote is filled with Flowers I have made, but I am probably going to fill it with chocolates.

I am entering this card and tote into the following challenges:

Ellibelle's Corner -  May  "Feminine or add a sentiment"
DLART May Linky Challenge - ATG
A Bit More Time To Craft - May 15th ATG
Craftyhazelnut's Pattered Paper - May - Must use patterned paper

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I promise I will try to be on this site more often.  Please go by International Art & Soul to see what my design team sisters have made and then play along with us!

Hugs,
