Autumn Girl Reading

Hello My Friends and Welcome Visitors,

Today I would like to show you a card that I made for my niece...no not that niece another one.  Actually she is my great niece.

One of the things that I love about entering challenges is that you get to see work by the design team that you might not otherwise see.  This is the case with this card.  I saw it on a design team blog, it was by an artist I did not know.  Her name is StarStampz; here is a link to this stamp on her Etsy page.  Autumn Fall Girl Reading.

Here is my card:

I wanted a certain look to the card, so I printed it out in white and then colored it the shade that you see.

Here is a close-up of the digital stamp:

I just love this so much!  Whenever I see a digital stamp of a girl reading, it always reminds me of my sister Cathy.  Even though I think I read as much as she did, most of my memories of us growing up was Cathy with her nose in a book.  It makes me happy just to think of those days.

Recipe for this card:
Digital Stamp - Autumn Girl Reading
Colored with Copic Markers
Die - Spellbinders Nestabilities

I am entering the following challenges:

Connie Can Crop - Monthly Challenge #50 - Bookworm
DL.Art - September Linky Challenge  ( she also has a labor day Halloween Crinkle Ribbon Bundle on sale for a very good price check it out!)
