An Altered Cigar Box

Hello Friends,

My friends Brenda & Renee came over to my house before Christmas and Brenda taught us how to make altered cigar boxes.

I used Graphic 45 "By the Sea" I love this paper!  I left the banding around the cigar box because I liked the way it looked.

I cut the sea shells out on my Cameo Silhouette with white paper.  I then inked them with Tim Holtz distress ink and then wet embossed them to make them shiny.  I added Tim Holtz corners & feet to complete the project.  I gave this to my sister Peggy.  She has a house at the ocean so I thought she would like it!

Thank you Renee & Brenda for a wonderful day!

I am entering this cigar box into the following challenges:

Crafting When We Can - Challenge #85 Anything But A Card
Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent - Anything Goes But Must Recycle
Decorate To Celebrate - Challenge #91 Anything Goes

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I appreciate all of your comments!

Hugs,
