Finally Finished!

Hello My Friends!

I am in a beachy mood this week!  As a lot of you know; I live near the Chesapeake Bay.  The weather has finally gotten warm here in Maryland and I am looking forward to the days ahead of swimming, crabbing, fishing and boating!  I started this 7 Gypsies Shadow Box awhile ago; I was waiting for a picture of my daughter Kelly & her new husband Rich on the bay.  Sadly, Rich is being deployed to several places this summer so the chances of getting that picture are slim.  I decided to go with a wedding picture of them with water in the background.

This has so many things that I love on it; it gives me joy just to look at it.

Here are some details:

Blocks that spell Bay  and these adorable Anchor Flat-back Flair Buttons are from ScrappyKDesigns.  You can find her on face-book and Etsy.  The piece of cloth behind the buttons is recycled.  It is from an old sailboat.

Me & my daughter Kelly (husband in the back) and Beach Rules from Graphic 45 By The Sea.

My son Brian & his girlfriend Sarah.  The next picture is Sharp's Point Lighthouse; one of my favorite places on the Chesapeake Bay.

A Tim Holtz bottle filled with sand from our beach; my husband and our dog Louie.

This says "you are the beat of my heart" this shadowbox contains everything that makes this old heart continue to beat.  Note the teeny tiny basket of seashells...they are for a doll house I got them on e-bay.  My daughter and her soldier boy husband.

The title please note in the box below are sharks teeth I found on the beach and an anchor button that I found in the 3GirlJam antique buttons that Julie sent me.

I am entering this shadow box into the following challenges:
