Good Morning My Friends,
I have created a new blog that some of you may be interested in. I am from a family of 14 children 10 girls and 4 boys. I am kind of in the middle. There are 7 older and six younger than me. 2 boys older and 2 boys younger....my parents were trying to have boys. My maiden name is America. My mom passed away when I was 16 years old, my dad passed away at the age of 92 this past February. I inherited this very old green cookbook. In the pages of the cookbook are handwritten recipes written by my mom or dad, mostly so that they could do the math to figure out how to make a recipe stretch to feed 16 people.
There are now 13 brothers & sisters, 46 grandchildren and at last count...26? great grandchildren...I am sure someone is pregnant as I write this. So I have created a blog and I am going to post all of the recipes that were handwritten and I have scanned a couple chapters of the cookbook I just need to figure out how to make the files small enough to get them up on the blog.
