I Can Tie A Bow!

Good Morning!

What a wonderful day!  I can tie a bow!  Oh I am going to be tying bows on everything I make for awhile!  If you look back at my blog and my projects, you will notice a lack of bows.  I put ribbon on some of my cards, I make flowers out of bows, but I never could tie a bow.  Well ladies, look at the card I made today!

Woo Hoo!  A bow!  I went to 3GirlJam Blog Hop and I decided to buy their bow maker.  I thought why not.  It was very inexpensive only $5.99 plus $1.95 shipping.  I have bought other bow makers before, the kind that lie flat, I haven't been able to get the hang of them.  This was the very first bow I made.  I did use a YouTube Video, if you would like to see that click HERE.  This is what the bow maker looks like.

The ribbon I used is 3 Girl Jam too.  I would like to say that I am not affiliated with 3 Girl Jam in any way.  I am not their sales person or on their design team, I just really, really like this product....oh and I am entering this card into their very first blog challenge butterflies and bows.  If you would like to enter click  HERE.

The digital stamp is from Fresh Brewed Designs and it is called Fairy Sweet Gardner.  Fresh Brewed Designs is having a challenge on their Challenge Blog called HOT, HOT, HOT.  I am also entering this card into that challenge.  I used a Copic Coloring Technique called "Thick Layers" where I really saturated the digital stamp with lots of colors to make them "pop" off the page.  I hope the colors of the digital stamp and the two colors of ribbon make it "hot".

My, my, I sure am chatty lately, my blogs have been running very long...sorry bout that!

  2. Adorable card, Chriss. And, congrats on the bow making - I know they can be a pain sometimes. I use a hairlifter(like tying a fork bow only you have a greater size choice).

  5. Wonderful card Chriss, and a FABULOUS bow!!! Isn't it funny how the little things in life make us so happy! LOL! I use a Bow-Easy (flat kind) and if I didn't have that, I'd never, ever be able to tie a bow!
Love your card and have fun with the bow maker!
