My Craft Channel Fabric Friday's Challenge

Good Morning Friends,

My good friend Nana over at My Craft Channel is having her first Fabric Friday's Challenge.  Now as some of you know I do not sew.  I wish I could sew, but for some reason, I just can't do it.  I took a sewing class when I was in my twenty's I made my daughter a sundress, during that same time, my friend that took the class with me made her husband an entire suit!  I did make Halloween costumes & summer shorts & tops for my kids, but it was a real effort.  Luckily for me, Nana said it was ok to use vinyl!  Hooray!  I can work with vinyl!  So here is my project.

I needed a bucket near my pool to store some things in so that they wouldn't get wet but I also wanted the top to be child-proof.  I cleaned a bucket that chemicals came in. (don't worry, I cleaned it really well)

The lid seals with a child protective top.

I covered it with blue vinyl and then added a red crab, purple octopus and green turtle from the Cricut "Life is a Beach" Cartridge.

Please go by http://www.mycraftingchannel.com/p/fabric-friday.html and add your project.  Hurry, it ends, Friday, July 5th.  There are several talented people that I know can make something wonderful!  I am thinking of you my little honeybee!

Thanks for stopping by today, I love your comments!

Hugs,

  6. Wonderful makeover on the bucket. We use our pool buckets for lots of things also but not thought of this. Currently using one bucket to hold the bird seed bag for backyard birdfeeder. I'll ck out the Crafting Channel.

    1. Hubby told me he would love to have one to hold "Winter Salt" for salting our front walkway. That is a great idea! Gonna make him one with snowmen of course! Birdfood is a good idea too, mice can't get in!
