Good Morning Ladies!
I hope that everyone had a great weekend! On Saturday, I went with my sis-in-law Denise to a Scrapbook store kinda far from my house (about an hour but worth the drive) called Great Scraps http://www.greatscraps.biz/ to take a Copic Coloring class in skin and hair coloring. As some of you that follow my blog know, I have taken most of my Copic Classes on line, but I just couldn't quite get the hair and skin coloring down with the on-line classes. This class was so much fun! So here is my first card. What do you think? I know it is gonna take some practice but boy is it fun! I just love, love, love coloring~
I think I might send this card to my friend Trish who is having a birthday this week!
Chriss this is so pretty!! Great job your friend is going to love it!! I have my cards ready to sent to you for the Relay for Life but when I went to put them in an envelope to mail I realized I had run out of them, I will get to the store on Thursday and mail it out on Friday!!

Cute cute cute, Great job on the hair colouring...
ReplyDeletewhat shades did you use? Did you know that one black colour and do the magic to the hair colouring too? Yep it's how you feather brush it... Aw wish we were close so we could colour together.....
Cute!!! I think you did a great job on the coloring!! :)Amy
ReplyDeleteI think she looks GREAT! I love your coloring! But if you're going to invest in markers I say look into ProMarkers. They are the same as Copics but cheaper and somewhat better. I love the nib tip and they have a tiny tip that you add to the markers that are great for small areas...LOVE THEM! They even have new markers called FlexMarkers with a brush tip like a copic. SO MUCH CHEAPER...same result. The ONLY negative is they are not numbered so there is a little more of a learning curve. WORTH IT! I got all 145 for $300 you can't even get 100 copics for that.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Chriss!! I love how you colored the hair...and the entire image!! You did a fabulous job!! My "When One Door Closes" card will be in the mail to you for the Relay for Life :)
