Veteran's Day

Good Morning,

Tomorrow is Veteran's day.  This is a special day of remembrance for me.  I honor the memory of my Uncle Martin who died in the Korean War.  He was killed on the March 1, 1951.  I was born in 1957 so I never knew him except for the stories that were told to me that has kept him alive in my heart.

I made a card.  I know it is nothing compared to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country but it is all I can do.

I hope that you will take a few minutes out of your day tomorrow to remember those that fought and died to keep us free.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:

CCEE Stampers - #1745 Masculine
Crafting With An Attitude - Challenge 33 ATG
Card Mania- CMC#98 - ATG
Love To Craft Challenge - LTCCB #16 - November ATG
Crazy 4 Challenges - C4C411 - "Lest We Forget"

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

  5. Awesome Patriotic card! Love that sentiment! My Uncle died in World War II and I never got to meet him but my Mom told me stories about him and when going through some old family papers I found a letter to my grandmother stating how my Uncle kept going back to rescue men in his platoon!
