Card for my brother

Hello Friends and Welcome Visitors,

Today I would like to show you a pop box card that I made for my brother's birthday.  I saw it in the Father's Day cards last summer and I knew right away that I would make it for his birthday.

This pop box card was very work intensive, but hey, that is what makes your brain cells grow right?  I chalked the car to give it a kind of dusty traveling look.

This is how it looks from the top.

I had some Tim Holtz papers and embellishments that I purchased a very long time ago, they sure came in handy for this card.

The postcard and stamp are made up of some "fussy cut" Tim Holtz papers.

I found this paper that said "Come to Minnesota" my brother lives in Minnesota, it was quite a feat to get this paper lined up to show that sentiment.

This is the back of the card, the sentiment is from Just Rite.

I made the envelope from Tim Holz stamp paper cause I liked the way it looked and you can see what the card looks like folded inside.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

  11. Great Pop Up Box card Chriss. I like all the details, and while a little fussy to make, they have a great impact for a special card. Your brother will love this. It's funny I just made a Pop N' Twist card which I'll be posting at the next Masculine challenge, using the Route 66 and the California paper. What fun! Love all the images you chose for yours! Thanks for joining us for our Watercooler Wednesday Birthday Card challenge this week.
