Happy Mudders Day

Good Morning!

Do you like pigs?  I have a little story to tell about pigs before I show you my card.  When my kids were probably 7 and 9 ....many, many years ago.  We already lived in a menagerie. We had a dog, two cats, green Anole, fish, a crab that would escape it's tank at least once a month...well you get the idea.

My son suddenly became enamored of pot belly pigs.  He really, really wanted one.  We tried taking him to a farm to see the pigs.  The pig shed smelled so bad that me, my husband and daughter had to run out, but not my son, he loved it!  It actually got so bad that I said to my husband "should we get a pig?" he looked at me like I had lost my mind!  So we never did get a pig, but every time I see one, I think of that sweet little boy.

Here is my card.

This is about as CAS as I get.  Here is the inside.

I used the Mother's Day stamp from MSE.

  4. Chriss, your pig is adorable. I have to tell you that I did Home Health Nursing for many years and the worst place I went to had a pot belly pig for a pet. The animal did stink and they had soooo many dogs that would walk through the screen patio door. I was there to do IV care. So here I am trying to do a sterile dressing change and I had flies that I would be swinging at....real sterile right. Get my drift and wonder why the man had a severely infected leg wound.
