As some of you know; my sweet dog Louie (the Lou in Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou) passed away. I seem to be getting through the grief and sadness. I know that Louie would not like to see me crying all the time (he HATED it when I cried, he would stick his big nose in my face until I stopped.) I have started to ask myself what would Louie want me to do?
The answer is quite simple, rescue a dog just as we rescued him. So we will start looking for a dog in "dire straights" like my sweet Louie was and rescue him. Louie loved puppies and babies! He would worry over a toddler like an old hen! I was an assistant obedience dog trainer when Lou was about 4 years old, I would take him to the puppy socialization classes and he would lie on the floor and let the puppies climb all over him!
Anyway, enough of that....
