Good Morning!

If you are joining me for the first time, I am Chriss, welcome to my blog!  Oh we are going to have some fun today with lots and lots of great prizes to win!  To find out all of the rules, please go to Craftin Desert Divas we are linking up our craft rooms!  You can too!  Shhh...don't tell anyone I am the secret person who is giving away a $15.00 gift certificate to Michael's or Joanne's to one lucky winner....more about that later....first I want to show you my craft room.  Warning, I am going to show off a lot of pictures because I love my craft room.  You can only link up one picture, so choose a good one!  This is the entrance to the room.  I bought the Ikea furniture from e-bay and had to drive quite a distance to pick it up, but it was such a bargain it was worth it.

The room is painted a very pale pink.  Most of the Hello Kitty things that you see in the room are gifts from my children.

The table with the Cricut Expression (my daughter made the Hello Kitty cover) is a piece of counter top my brother in law gave me on top of some Jet Max that I got on sale from Michaels. I love my Ikea cabinet.  Lots & lots of storage.

When I get a card from one of my bloging buddies, I put it up on my window like a valance.  I love looking at them.  It reminds me of you my dear friends and also keeps my mojo alive.

The metal bulletin board you see in this picture was made by my husband I love it!

Well thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my craft room.  Want to know what you need to do to win a $15.00 gift certificate to Michaels or Joanne's?

1.  Be a follower of my blog.
2.  Leave a comment here telling me what you love most about your craft room OR give me a helpful hint about a storage solution that you have found for your craft room.

That is it.!  Please stop by Craftin Desert Divas to find out how you can win even more prizes!  I hope you will come back again.  I give out prizes all the time, just for fun and it seems like there is always something going on around here.  I have the best group of followers around!

  2. This is a brilliant craft room. I really love your desk space and the awesome saying you have on the wall over your billboard.

My favorite storage idea is a cabinet that I purchased at a hardware store and put on my wall it holds a bunch of brads of all style. I have put labels on the little drawers to know whats in there.

  5. **Pouts*** I don't have a craft room. I have a bucket that has most of my things in it and several shoe boxes. As of right now those things are in my Nanny-Goat's kitchen. In my bedroom, I have my colored pencils, digis, a few embellishments, and card stock. My kids would be all in it if I had it all at home.

  7. I really like the crisp clean organized room you have- everything has a special place...which makes its so much easier to do a project.
I love my lower level Craft rooms- I have been spoiled to have such a great space- and as far as 1 storage idea- that is so hard for me because I have several. But the one that I have had the longest is my ribbon(shoe rack) storage on the back of my doors into my craft area. I have also become a follower of yours today looking forward to more of your posts

  10. LOVE your craft room!!! I linked up this morning!! Your colors are soft and inviting!! I have a couple of storage tips that I love: The first one I found on Pinterest and it is an acrylic frame with velcro to hang stickles upside down. I also bought a cube from Target and store my solid cardstock papers in it. I put the cube so the opening is on top and place it on the floor so I can just reach in. My last favorite is an expanding file folder for my scraps!!!

I follow your blog and Pinterest!!

  22. Wow the bulletin board your husband made is super. Love your craft space. Very creatively organized. TFS.
I think my favorite organization in my craft room would have to be my Recollection shelves that are meant to hold 12x12 paper. They are the white ones that have 4 shelves. I have 3 of them stacked on top of each other on the end of my craft table. Each shelf holds 2 medium snapware containers which I use as drawers to hold assorted crafting items. (I will add a picture of them on my craft room post)

  23. Your craftroom is very neat and clean Chriss - not here - I am wondering if I should take the messy picture or clean it up - hmmm -maybe I should take the messy picture? The one thing I like about my craftroom is I have my radio and CD player here - so I play that when I am crafting - my computer is in the crafting room too - so that is very convenient when I need to check my blog - challenges, etc. Thanks for your lovely picture of your crafting room! 26. Your space is awesome - love how crisp and clean it looks. My favourite thing about my craft room is that it is my space - no-one elses, just mine. I have enjoyed adding things to it and getting more organised as the past year has gone by and I love my glass desk, it's so easy to keep clean.

  28. Hu Chris .... Your room is fabulous and inspires me to clean mine up so I can find all my goodies. I have so much STUFF! I love it all though, so it is not going anywhere. I am kind of in the middle of reorganizing my craft room (my "Paper Jungle") and I do have a lot of neat ideas for storage. My favorite (newer) idea is to shop, shop, shop at Ikea! I bought 2 Expedit shelving units and laid them down in their sides so it is 8 cubbies wide by 2 cubbies high. I put drawers in half of the cubbies. My only disappointment in them is that Iris paper cases do not fit in them! Grrrrr... If only!! I also got a really nice sideboard from Ikea and it now holds all my rubber stamps.
