Decorate To Celebrate Guest Designer!

Good Morning!

Today I am so excited to be the Guest Designer at Decorate To Celebrate.  The Theme is Halloween Part 2.  I love Halloween but I like to give my Halloween a Vintage look.

Whooooo! Welcome to my party! For the Witches Hat, I purchased a cardboard hat at Michael's and spray painted it black.  I then printed out a free vintage image from an on-line site.  I mod-podged it to the hat.  I used lots of purple & black ribbon from my stash and then just decorated it with Halloween things that I had around the craft room.

To make the Witches Hat Cookies, gather the following items -

Sorry, that picture is a little blurry - Fudge Stripes Dark Chocolate Cookies, Hershey's Kisses and a tube of Halloween Colored Icing.

Turn the cookies up-side-down, place a Hershey's Kiss in the center of the cookie, microwave for 30-45 minutes until kiss is adhered to cookie but not melted.  Wait until they cool and then decorate with icing.

Easy- Peasy but oh so fun!  Last but not least, we have to have an invitation to the party!  For this, I used the new October Afternoon Witch Hazel Post card.  I cut out a strip of cats from the Witch Hazel Paper and I added some vintage buttons.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and a BIG Thank You to Decorate To Celebrate for having me as a Guest Designer!  I had so much fun!
