A Card for My Son's Girlfriend

Good Morning!

My son's girlfriend Sarah has been over in Rome for about a month.  She is there on an Art History grant.  She is studying to get her P.h.D in the field of Art History.  The really cool part of this story is that my son is going to Brighton, England to present a paper (he is also getting his P.h.D in Technical Communication) and then will travel by train to meet up with Sarah to celebrate his 30th birthday.  What a life these kids have!  It must be wonderful to be so young and free!  I think this will be my son's 9th or 10th trip to Italy.

The year I turned 30, my son started kindergarten and I celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary!  Oh well, we all make our choices in life and I think that all in all, I am happy with mine.  Maybe my husband and I will have the chance to travel more when he retires.

Here is a card I made for Brian to take to Sarah.

I won this steam punk image.at the CMS Steampunk Blog Hop.   http://www.bearywishes.com/2012/04/27/cms-steampunk-blog-hop/ I won about 7 digi stamps from this hop. If you go there and click at the top of the page, you can download your own free digi's to add to your coloring collection.   I really enjoyed coloring this gal.  She just looked to me like she would wear brown and purple.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs,
