Welcome To My Scrapbook Room

For the Relay For Life Two Challange Prizes Go HERE

Good Morning!

Today I would like to show you two fun things in my scrapbook room.  I was visiting some of my friends blogs the other day and I stopped by my buddy   Vanessa B at Paper Creations.
She has a huge decorated clothes pin that one of her blends (blogger friends) made her with a card from another blend sitting on top.  I LOVE that!  How nice to have something in your scrapbook room that came from your blogging friends!  So I gathered up all the cards that my friends have sent me and I made this!

It is a valance to go across the top of my window!  I hope to one day have it filled with cards! (hint, hint) every time I look up, I will be able to remember all of you and your good thoughts and wishes~ Here is a closer view.  I have some cute little clothes pins in different colors, I might put them over the staples.

The next thing I want to show you came from my buddy Debby D. at Scrap Soul
I did this awhile ago but it is a really neat idea and I love it.  It is a way to store your Spellbinders Nestabilities.  Go to Office Depot or Staples and get a roll of magnetic tape and some CD cases.
Then just cut the magnetic tape to go on the inside of the CD case (where the CD would go) the magnet holds the spellbinders in place.

I just labeled mine on the front.

I keep them inside this Hello Kitty Mail box that I got...oh I think at Walmart some time ago.

As you can see, I still have room for more!

Thanks for stopping by today and visiting me in my scrapbook room.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs!

  1. Chriss, I llloooovvvve the card/valance idea! This would be so awesome for someone in extended care. What did you use for the loops? Would be great at Christmas also. Oh the ideas are endless!

    1. Hi Precious Memories,

Yes you are right, it would be a great idea for a nursing home, didn't think of that! It is strips of pink cardstock. I wrapped the cardstock around the curtain rod and then stapled the card to the cardstock. Hugs!

  2. Hi Chriss! This is a great idea, but I'm old and can't figure it out. Are the pins upside down? It looks like it wraps around the rod. I want to do this, but I'm confused. Please 'splain.
And, I (being somewhat new to the blog world) did not know what a "blend" was. Thans to you - now I do!
