Lou's Birthday - Let's Give Away Some Candy!

For the Relay for Life Card Challenge Two Prizes Click HERE

Good Morning Ladies!

Today is my sweet, darling 104 pound dog Louie's 7th Birthday.  Most of you know Louie and know his dramatic story of being rescued right in the nick of time, but if you are new to my blog, click on the button at the top that says "Lou" and you can read all about him.  Lou is my constant companion.  He goes everywhere I go, he filled my "empty nest" when my children flew away and sometimes he is the only reason I get out of bed in the morning.  Instead of making him a card, I used my Cricut Cartridge - Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 and made him a little dog house.

I think it is really cute!  But his dad out did me!  He went to the butcher and bought some steak, he had the butcher trim the steak and he brought all the fat home to Louie!  Oh man, just what this dog needs!  I make Louie's dog food (ever since the scare back in 2007 when some dogs got sick & even died from eating bad commercial dog food) so I guess I will add this to his homemade dog food!

Look at that smile on my husband's face!
Louie gives his dad a wink...he knows he'll have all that food in his stomach by the end of this weekend...sigh..

Oh he is a smart boy!  Louie says he wants to give a "present" to one of our followers to thank you for following Scrappin' with Chriss and Lou and I think that is a great idea!

This looks like a fun prize!  It's paper, brads, alphas & stickers!  Who would like to win?  Well you know what to do.

1.  You must be a follower
2. Leave a comment on this blog wishing old Lou a Happy Birthday
3. Spread the word!  Post this candy on your side bar.  If you have facebook or twitter let people know about it there.
4. Contest open until Saturday, May 19th
5. Winner announced Monday, May 21st.

  6. Love Lou's wink and how you must love him to give a candy celebrating his birthday!!
You are so right to cook his food. My cocker spaniel was exclusively on dog food from a reputed american brand and a couple of months earlier he developed bladder stones and had to be operated...The vets attribute it to the dog food and are even publishing it in journals. Now our doggy is on strict home food!

Shall post Lou's candy on my sidebar..sending doggy licks his way from 2 doggy friends in India

  7. Happy birthday to Lou!
As you see in my profile pic, I'm with Bella. She's a 110 lb Great Pyrenees that adopted me! How blessed I am!
I would show Bella the present Louie's dad got him, but she would expect the same....and we're trying to watch her figure right now!
