Happy Birthday Matt!

Hello Ladies,

Today is a wonderful day for me because it is the day my husband Matt, my sister Peggy and my niece Vicky were all born...hum...somebody should count back nine months...this sure does seem to be a popular birthday.  Anyway, today I would like to show you a card I made for my husband Matt.

The sentiment says "You be the anchor that keeps my feet on the ground.  I'll be the wings that keep your heart in the clouds."  I think this is the perfect sentiment for us.  We have been together for 38 years married for almost 35 years and we are still crazy, madly in love with each other.  Someone once asked me how we do it.  Matt is a very serious business man of the world, I am a flighty artist. I live in a world of my own.  But I make our house warm and filled with love, a soft place for Matt to come to at the end of the day.  When he is tired I tell him stories from my world that make him smile and laugh again. I constantly remind him of his dreams and hopes for the future. When I get too lost in my world, he gently reminds me of my responsibilities here on earth.  Together we have created a little place where we can live and love, quietly help the less fortunate and be at peace.
I wish you a happy day today!

Hugs
