Dear Blog Friends,

I am very sad to tell you that my dad, Papa Joe America passed away this morning in his sleep.  He was 91 years old (almost 92).  He died in his own home, in his own bed with his children near-by.  I arrived about 10 minutes after he passed away and to me he looked like he was at peace.

Love,
Chriss

  14. Condolences on the loss of your father. My Father died in 2006. I flew to FL for the funeral on Veteran's Day and was first time I heard Taps played in person.
