Winnie the Pooh Card

Happy Happy Monday!  It's a Winnie the Pooh kinda day!  So here is a Winnie the Pooh card that I made for my little 4 year old next door neighbor.  I am here "secret friend" and I have been sending her cards and packages this summer just to keep her from being bored.  Her older brothers went to summer camp.  I found a really cool Winnie the Pooh coloring book to send her too!

So for this card I used my Cricut Expression and the Winnie the Pooh & Friends Cart.  I shaded pooh with my copic markers.  Because the bees were so small, I cut them with white paper and then colored them in with my copic markers.  I used Echo Park Summer Days for both sides of the paper Clouds #SD14009.  I cut the banner from an old sheet of music (can you sing Winnie the Pooh?) and used Sew Easy Floss (orange) for the banner string and to sew on the key & heart charms.  I used a sketch from Lets Scrap Challenge 7-20-11.
Thank you for looking!  Have a great day!

  2. This is such a sweet card. Thanks for stopping by my blog to leave a sweet comment and join in for the blog candy draw. I loved your story about Lou. I just lost my sweet Springer Spaniel Heidi who was 14. I can't even begin to say how much I miss her. She was a rescue dog as well.

  4. Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. I think you are getting the hang of Copics. Your shading on the die cuts adds a lot of dimension. I've only been using Copics for a little over a year. I've been watching a ton of videos on youtube and looking at all kinds of tutorials on blogs. That has helped me the most. I also keep a file of images (on pinterest) that I think are colored really well and I refer to them when I need some inspiration. This is all probably TMI but I thought I would share. Stick with using Copics. You are doing great.

I hope you have a fabulous week!
