Life Is A Beach!

Here is a fun project that I thought I would share with you today.  It is not a layout or a card, but you can use scrapbooking stickers to make it.

As some of you know, I live near the Chesapeake Bay and I decorate my home in a beach theme.  I saw something like this when I was blog hopping several weeks ago and I knew I had to make it.  This was on the "I'd Rather Be at The Beach Blog Hop" by Lisa Tehonica Pontious, if you would like to see what she did, go to http://honeybearzdesigns2011.blogspot.com/2011/05/id-rather-be-at-beach-blog-hop-day-4.html she did a great job!  She painted waves and clouds on her blok!

This is a Krafty Blok and Krafty Blok stand.  I bought them at the Hobby Lobby where it seems that they are always on sale, lol.  I added sand and shells and beach stickers to mine, you could but anything in yours!  Make it a farming scene, add a picture and make it a shadow box,  put baby stickers on it and make it a baby bank, add lighting and make it a lamp, there is so much you can do!

So here is what it looked like before I started.

Here I am adding the sand and shells.  As you can see the opening in the top is quite large and then can be closed back up with a plastic stopper.  If you want to make it a bank, you can cut a coin size slot.

In keeping with trying to "Scrap My Stash" (see Lets Scrap Our Stash at http://letsscrap.ning.com/) I used stickers that I already owned.  As you can imagine, I own a lot of beach stickers.

So that is my project thank you for stopping by.  If you have any comments, please leave them here, if you have any questions, I will be happy to try to answer them, you can e-mail me at america57@comcast.net.  Reminder tomorrow (June 16th) is the drawing for my blog candy.  So don't forget to follow me!  I will be giving away more candy very soon!  Have a happy day!
