Happy Mother's Day for my friends here in the USA. I have had an unusual week, my husband has been working from his office here in the house during the pandemic but on Friday, May 1st, his company asked that everyone take a week of vacation leave, so he immediately made a to do list about a mile long. We have been getting a lot done!
We have a cafe near our house that is doing a lovely pick up brunch for Mother's Day with quiche, muffins, scones, fresh butter, honey and jam. I am really looking forward to some down time with my sweetheart.
The Challenge at International Art & Soul #83 is "Flowers and Butterflies" isn't that a perfect challenge for this time of year?
I decided to make a waterfall card. It is photo heavy so you might want to get a cup of coffee or tea and join me.
Here it is closed. I really enjoyed using all of these pastel colors. Can you see that the little brads on the side are butterflies?
Opened 1. I wish I could find a stamp that says "Pull" I had to write it and I don't like my handwriting.
Here is the inside of the card. The sentiment says "Butterflies are Free!" this is from and old Springtime Stamp Set. Not sure where I got it.
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Use Your Stuff - # 397 Flowers and/or Butterflies
Moving Along With the Times -# 118 - May - Flowers
The House That Stamps Built - DCC M620 - Spring Flowers
little red wagon - #584 Flowers
Paper Minutes - #639 Butterflies
Dare2BArtzy - May - In the Garden
Animal Friends - #86 May Insects
Thank you so much for stopping by! Please go to International Art & Soul to see what my design team sisters have made and then play along with us! It's always fun!
Hugs,
Happy Mother's Day Chriss, enjoy the brunch, beautiful waterfall card, hugs, Lori m
