Grandpa and his Boy

Hello Friends,

Walking With Grandpa

Rodney O. Hurd

I like to walk with Grandpa,
His steps are short like mine.
He doesn't say "Now hurry up!"
He always takes his time.
Most people have to hurry,
They do not stop and see.
I'm glad that God made Grandpa

"Unrushed" and young like me.

I thought of this poem as I was making this Grandfather's Day Card.

I had an extremely difficult time finding Grandfather Sentiment Stamps.  I finally found this one on JustRiute Anchors Away.

Here is the sentiment on the inside of the stamp:

Recipe for this card:
Digital Image - A Day for Daisies
Copic Markers
Sentiments - JustRite Anchors Away
Dies - Spellbinders Card Creator and half circle stitched die
Chalked Edges - Quick Quote PowderPuff Chalks
Paper - Bo Bunny & Bazzill
Sketch is from Paper Play Sketches
