Craftin Desert Divas is having a September Stamp Release and everyday they are giving away a different SVG. Yesterday they gave away this very cute skeleton. Jeepers Creepers.
I have decided to make a treat bag for all of my neighbors that come and eat chili and hang out with us on Halloween night. So here is Jeepers Creepers made into a treat bag. I only changed the SVG slightly by giving my little skeleton a little skeleton heart.
This is quite a time consuming SVG because you have to cut paste each bone on to the black background separately. But I LOVE doing intricate work like this! Here is a hint, cut the white pieces last and leave them on your mat so that you can pick up each piece individually and put it in place.
So yesterday when I was hopping through the Craftin Desert Divas Design Team looking for letters to win this fella, I came upon the most beautiful card at Luv Scrapping Together, she made the eyes of her cat look so cool using Glossy Accents. I looked around my craft room and I own Glossy Accents. I decided to use it on my skeletons bones. I may have gone a little crazy with it (first time I have ever used it).
Can you tell from this picture that the bones are glossy?
I also wanted to show you the side of the bag. It is bones!
I did not put the bones on the front because I did not think my skeleton would show up against them.
I am entering this treat bag into the following challenges:
DL Art - September Linky Challenge
Come and Get It Challenge - Clear it Out (used scrap pieces (stash item) (s to make skeleton & sentiment) & used Glossy Accents which were so stashed I didn't know I owned.
