Hogs & Kisses!

Good Morning My Friends,

 Well my husband had back surgery last Wednesday and although we had a few complications, all in all it went very well.  Now he has three weeks of recovery ahead of him and hopefully he will be in a lot less pain.  I know that I have really good friends, but when something like an illness or surgery happens, I am reminded that I also have really super kind friends.

 So, I will be making thank you notes for the dinners, and the visits from those kind friends.  Here is my first one.  I have wanted to create a CAS card for awhile.  I see my bloggy friend Lynn makes them and I love them.  But, they are harder to make than they look.  You have to get all your elements together without doing too much.

 This card took three stamps.
 The pig is from High Hopes Rubber Stamps, the "Hogs & Kisses" sentiment is from My Pink Stamper and the "Smooches" stamp is from Craftin Desert Divas.  I think I am going to send this one to our friends the Davidson's who brought us dinner & visited Saturday night.  I always complain to them that my dog Louie won't give us any "smoches" so they will love the smooches on this card!

 I colored the stamp with my copic markers.

    Aww I didn't know that hubby had a back surgery... Hope and prayers for a speedy recovery... I guess you must be the head of everything right now... I hope Louie is helping out. LOL! Love that piggy's and I'm sure they will make great thank you notes and smiles to all the recipients...
