One Stitch At A Time Anything Goes w/Orange

Good morning my friends & welcome visitors.

Have you ever been sick for a very long time and when you start feeling better you are just so grateful and filled with joy?  That is how I feel today.  The shingles aren't gone, but I am not as sick as I was when I got them and I am just filled with happiness!

So today's Challenge over a tOne Stitch At A Time is Challenge # 221 "Anything Goes With The Color Orange".  Here is my card.

Isn't this fun?  The digital stamp is by Alipeeps Art and is called Kostume Kidz - Cute Pirate.  If you like him, you can purchase him HERE.

I received an electronic Cut n' Boss for my birthday and I used it for the first time to emboss the Pirate Chest.  The pirate chest is from the Silhouette Store.  I distressed the chest with Quick Quotes Powder Puff Orange Chalk.  I had some scrap gold paper to make the straps, lock & sand.  The jewels in the sand are Skittles from DoubleClick - AKA Abusybee; the sentiment is from a halloween stamp set and last but not least, I cut my pirate out with my Cameo Silhouette.  I colored him with almost every orange copic marker that I own!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Die Cuttin Diva's - Anything Goes
PDE Linky Party - Shaped Cards
The Sisters of Craft - October Anything Goes
Liz Stamps - Challenge #74 Distressing
Hiding In My Craft Room - Challenge #168 Halloween Colors

Thank you so much for stopping by my friends! I hope you will stop by One Stitch at a time and see what the rest of the Stitchy Angel Design Team has created and then come and play along with us!   I appreciate all of your comments!

Hugs,

  2. Super creation Chriss, we do have a lot of fun with our die cuts. Wow - lucky you with your B-Day pressie of the Cut n' Boss, you will have to let us all know what it is like to use before we ask Santa to drop one by our homes in a few months time, looks like a great machine. Lovely colouring on the pirate and super detail on the die cuts :) :) :) big hugs, Jane xxxxx
