I can not sit still. Even when I am supposed to be resting; I can't do it. I don't like to watch TV in the daytime, when I try to read; something catches my attention and I am off to do some little chore. So trying to rest my arm after dislocating it is very hard for me.
I had glorious blooms from my African Violets this winter; they really put on a show. I recently transplanted them into some pots I bought at Ikea. Red Carpet Studio is having a challenge based on the movie Beaches I love that movie; so I started watching it. It suddenly occurred to me that I could make my pots match my beach themed decor with some vinyl & my cameo silhouette. I don't know if Red Carpet Studio will accept this project, but if you haven't been by there; you should stop in and see the design team creations! Wow!
Here is what the pots looked like before.
I put a die cut on each side so that I could turn the plants toward the light.
I am entering my Beach Pots into the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteI'm not a TV watcher at all so know where you're coming from on that one! Hope you're doing a little better now.
ReplyDeleteAfrican Violets I can NOT grow for any reason - but if I did grow some I'd want them in cute pots like these! Love these.
