DTC Challenge #69 3-D Flowers

Hello My Friends,

Today we have a new challenge at Decorate To Celebrate "3-D Flowers" as most of my regular readers know; I love to entertain at home since it is hard for me to visit.  I decided to make napkin holders using rings cut from the cardboard in the inside of paper towels that I painted white (base coat) and then green.  I then made flowers to match my plates and put them all together with a brad.  Here is a close-up of the napkin ring...

And here is one of my place settings...

I am entering my project into the following challenges:

"When the trees their summer splendor
Change to raiment red and gold,
When the summer moon turns mellow,
And the nights are getting cold;
When the squirrels hide their acorns,
And the woodchucks disappear;
Then we know that it is autumn,
Loveliest season of the year."
- Carol L. Riser, Autumn
