Good Monday Morning!
Today is my sister Trudy's birthday! When Trudy was a young mother, she decided to go to dental hygienist school. I guess I was around 13 or 14 years old at the time. Trudy had to bring someone to class to "work on" and she brought me. I had been to the dentist throughout my childhood but I think with there being 14 kids in my family, we kind of overwhelmed the dentist. When I went with Trudy, she taught me how to floss my teeth, I don't ever remember being taught how to do that. Maybe having your big sister teach you how to floss and brush makes more of an impression on a teenage girl. All I know is that I have flossed between my teeth every day since then. When I go to the dentist they are always so impressed with my gums and I get compliments all of the time on my big white smile! So thank you Trudy and Happy Birthday! I wanted to make you a card with a dental hygienist but I couldn't find one, so I made you a tooth fairy instead!
Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your sister! It is a beautiful card. My dear daughter is a dentist and she continues to teach me to floss. As a matter of fact, I have a friend who happens to be the wife of a dentist and she reports to me that flossing is actually more important than brushing! I don't know if that is really true, but...maybe! Love the fairy.
ReplyDeleteLike the Tooth Fairy card. Flossing is important.
