Shamrock Banner

Hello My Friends and Welcome Visitors,

Happy March!  Spring is in the air!

Usually we have a St. Patrick's day party but this year I will be getting ready for the surgery I am having on March 21st so I will be on a liquid diet starting March 7th.  I am sad because my husband makes the BEST Irish dinner!  He makes a delicious corned beef and cabbage. He also makes something called colcannon if you have never tried it, I highly recommend it!

Anyway, I still want to decorate my house, it cheers me up so much...so here is a St. Patrick's Day banner...warning picture heavy so skip down to the bottom or get yourself a nice cup of coffee or tea, sit back and enjoy.

I actually started this last year and did not finish in time for St. Patrick's day.  Here is the first pennant.  Each pennant is 4.7 x 5.34.

I am entering this banner into the following challenges:

Crafty Cardmakers - #183 Go Green
UnstampaBelles Challenge -#65 Anything Goes (no stamps) - New St. Patrick's Day stickers
DLART Thankful Thursday Challenge - #199

How about you?  Do you celebrate St. Patrick's day?  If so how?
Hugs,

  4. Wow, such a great banner. No, we don't celebrate St Patrick's Day in Australia -although there are a lot of Irish descendants from convict stock here! There are the Irish Pubs around who serve green beer and have people singing but that is about it! Best of luck with surgery and enjoy your liquid lunch! Here that would probably be a schooner of beer! Great banner as I said before and thanks for sharing it with us at Unstampabelles!
