Leprechaun Card & Canister

Hello friends & welcome visitors,

Today I would like to show you a leprechaun card and canister that I made for a special someone.

I am a very "visual" person.  If I watch someone else make something, then it is very easy for me to do it myself.  If I have to follow written instructions...sigh...I get lost.  There is no video of how to put this together (believe me I looked) but I did find written instructions with pictures at Needles 'n' Knowledge Blogspot; she made it very easy to follow.

Here is the canister with the top off.

I have a tip for you.  I find it much easier to hold the glued parts together with binder clips.  Like this.

And let them dry.  I also fill the canister with rice (once it has dried) to make it easier to glue the pieces on the front.  I wish I could visit my friend Rhonda at http://scraphappenswithrhonda.blogspot.com/ and do a tutorial about putting together these hats.  She is amazing at this kind of work!

Another picture of the card.

I made his shiny black eyes by covering them with Glossy Accents.
