Pilgrim Hat

Hello Friends and Welcome Visitors!

So now I can tell you the secret that Megan (my pretend granddaughter) and I had this weekend!  I was babysitting for Meggie while her parents were away for the weekend.  Her parents always have a huge Thanksgiving party at their house where all are welcome; isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about?  Anyway, Megan & I decided to surprise her parents by decorating their house!  If you go to the next older post, you can see the banner we made to go over the fireplace.  We didn't want to use tape, so we made two Pilgrim hat cups, weighted them with heavy leaded fishing lures and used them to hold the banner up.

Here is the one that I made:

Here it is opened:

And here is Miss Megan's hat:

She loved the "Skittles" I get them from DoubleClick Connections (Meggie is a bling girl, we have that in common, lol) the SVG file for the Pilgrim hat box is from SVG Cuts and the feathers are from my stash!

I am entering this Pilgrim Hat into the following challenges:

Double Click Connections - Thanksgiving
Decorate To Celebrate - Anything Goes

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hugs,
