Red White & Blue Funny Glasses

Hello Friends & Welcome Visitors!

PRIZE CANDY BLOG GIVEAWAY CLICK HERE!

I am so excited to be going away on a family vacation this year!  Friends that live in the USA what are you doing for the 4th this year?

I started making funny glasses so that I could take pictures of people wearing them.  I made the Statue of Liberty glasses once and did not like the way they turned out.  My husband walked into the room; I told him that I didn't like them and that I was gonna throw them away.  He said "make Kelly wear them".  Kelly is my 34 year old daughter...we just laughed and laughed!  (I guess I will find out if Kelly reads my blog...yikes!)

These can all be found in the Silhouette Store.

I love this USA one.

This is the one I made a 2nd time.  I changed the paper colors.

I can't wait to take pictures of people with these on.  So fun!

I am entering these "Funny Glasses" into the following challenges:

Decorate to Celebrate - #103 Anything Goes
Jo's Scrap Shack - FFC #94 - Red White & Blue!
Dies R Us Challenge - Flags or Banners

Thank you so much for stopping by my friends.  Can't wait to hear about your plans for the Holidays!

Hugs,

  5. Oh my GOSH what a fantastic and fun idea. I can't wait to see some of the places where your glasses are pictured! I really want to try this idea. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday, we are celebrating in a small town near by enjoying dinner at a place called Chef and the Farmer. There is a TV program on the food network filmed here. We don't have any big plans this year, but a few small outings like that and I'm happy about it. I hope your 4th is GREAT...don't forget to share your eyeglasses photos! hugs...DK

  6. Chriss,

What a great project!! I myself always like to have headbands with silly things on for holidays, i.e. reindeer antlers, bunny ears and the such. I wear prescription glasses myself, so I have never tried these. I will so have to!! I love walking around, putting them on family and then taking pictures :)

I hope you have a wonderful fourth! Looking forward to spending time with the family!!

Thanks for playing at Jo's Scrap Shack!

    Happy crafting :)
