A Birthday Card For My Brother

Good Morning Friends & Welcome Visitors,

Today, I would like to show you a birthday card I made for my big brother Joe America.  Since he is the oldest brother in the family, we like to tease him and call him "Captain America".  He has always been my hero.  I have heard it said that you "marry your dad" but I have come to see that I married a man who is the combination of my two older brothers and that is a very good thing.

Last weekend, Jaded Blossom and SVG Cutting Files had a blog hop called "Calling All Super Heroes" it was so much fun and they gave away a ton of SVG Super Hero files.  Captain America was one of them.  Tomorrow they are having a blog hop called "May the 4th Be With You" that will feature Star Wars Cutting Files.  If you would like to get in on that, send me a message on my facebook page Chriss' Facebook Page and I will send you an invitation.

I cut this card out on my Cameo Silhouette.  I used red Bazzill paper.  The inside paper is actually 4th of July paper.  Captain America is made from scraps of paper in my stash.  The sentiment "Hello Super Hero" is from Jaded Blossom and you can purchase it HERE.  I love this stamp set and use it all the time.  The twine is Stars & Strips from Trendy Twine and the star bling is from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Little Scrap Pieces - Linky Party - Show it off Saturday
DL Art - April - Anything Goes
Crafting By Designs- Month Long - Anything Goes In May

Happy birthday Brother!  I hope you have a wonderful day!  I can not believe I actually mailed your card and you should get it on your birthday!

Thank you for stopping by everyone.  I appreciate all of your comments!

Hugs,
